Free Pancakes at IHOP for National Pancake Day

International House of Pancakes (IHOP) celebrates National Pancake Day each March 4 by offering a free short stack of pancakes to all guests who donate to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in lieu of payment for the pancakes.
Participating locations include Fredericksburg’s IHOP at 2831 Plank Rd.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer.

Restaurant Inspections: Carlos O’Kelly’s, The Recreation Center, IHOP

 
Rappahannock Area Health District (RAHD) officials conducted restaurant inspections at the following Fredericksburg locations March 27 and 28, 2014.
A “critical violation” is one that “poses a direct or immediate threat to the safety of the food being served.”
“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” officials said on the Virginia Department of Health’s website.
