The National Weather Service says the week will start off mild. Rain is possible tonight into Tuesday morning, then more widespread rain is expected Thursday. The week will end blustery and chillier, closer to normal for mid-January.

Forecasters say a warming trend is expected through the first half of the upcoming week. A couple of storm systems will bring the potential for rain: one early Tuesday, and another (stronger) one Thursday.
