Motorists should anticipate overnight travel delays and lane closures July 12 on Interstate 95 southbound in Stafford County for a mobile work zone to allow crews to install reflective pavement markings after a recent pavement project.

Courthouse Road will be expanded to four lanes from Ramoth Church Road to Cedar Lane west of I-95, with improved pedestrian facilities and new traffic signals

Detour will be in place for approximately 4 weeks as crews install a new bridge deck and beams to improve a bridge’s condition in Spotsylvania County

Multiple work zones will be underway overnight on Interstate 95 in the Fredericksburg area, and travelers are advised to expect significant travel delays.

Sunday ˗˗ Thursday, 9 p.m. ˗˗ 5 a.m. Two lanes on I-95 southbound will be closed from just before Exit 133 (Route 17/Falmouth) to the Rappahannock River Bridge for pavement repair. All lanes will be open to traffic by 4:30 a.m. each day. Motorists should expect overnight delays.

Through traffic will not be permitted to travel on this section of Harrison Road from 4 a.m. Saturday, June 24 through 5 a.m. Monday, June 26.

A section of Massaponax Church Road (Route 608) between Hickory Hill Drive and Overview Drive will be closed to all traffic from July 6 to August 29
