FAMPO Administrator Ian Ollis talks about a potential river crossing bridge and parkway west of I-95, across the Rappahannock River. An Open House is planned March 20th at the VDOT Auditorium at 86 Deacon Road in Stafford from 5-7.

If you’re traveling around the Richmond area this weekend, you could encounter delays
Weather permitting, the second weekend closure is scheduled for Friday, March 15 at 8 p.m. through Monday, March 18 at 6 a.m. The northbound and southbound travel lanes of I-95 at mile marker 74 will be reduced to one lane in each direction continuously.

VDOT says there is now a temporary traffic pattern on Route 17 (Mills Drive) in Spotsylvania to cross the bridge over I-95.
