The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the suspect behind a pursuit that occurred over the weekend following a traffic stop.
The Fredericksburg School Board approved expanding Lafayette Upper Elementary to help relieve overcrowding at Hugh Mercer Elementary. A report says that would allow the re-location of the second grade from Hugh Mercer to Lafayette. Work would begin July 1 and be completed for the 2020-2021 school year. School Board member Katie Pomeroy voted no.
