WATCH: No confidence in the new majority. A common theme of many speakers to the Spotsylvania School Board during public comment. Some teachers also said they would begin looking for new employment.
The Spotsylvania School Board rescinded its policy that required masks for students, teachers and visitors. Beginning on January 24th, parents can decide whether their children wear a mask in schools.
The Spotsylvania NAACP talked about voting rights, education and actions by the Spotsylvania School Board during an MLK Day virtual event.

Many speakers told the Spotsylvania School Board on Monday night they fear for the direction of county schools with the resignation of Superintendent Scott Baker at the end of the school year and a new board majority that takes over in January.
