Tree Fredericksburg volunteers–including City School Superintendent Dr. Marci Catlett–planted 51 trees Saturday morning at Hugh Mercer Elementary School. The trees were native, mainly oak.
Anne Little of Tree Fredericksburg says birds depend on them. And about those leaves on your yard in the fall, she says leave the leaves.
Packaged as bare-root seedlings, trees can be picked up from the Augusta Nursery or delivered between Feb. 22 and April 26, 2023.
