Fredericksburg Mayor Mary Katherine Greenlaw reads the official proclamation. Fredericksburg has been a Tree City USA locality for 36 years.
The annual Arbor Day celebration took place on the steps of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library. Tree Fredericksburg and volunteers were highlighted. Mayor Greenlaw was recognized for her dedication and work for the cause.

Volunteers helping plant 800+ trees on about three acres on the new Downtown Greens land off Belman Road in Fredericksburg. It’s all being coordinated by Adam Lynch and Friends of the Rappahannock.
It’s the countdown to conservation. Downtown Greens has a goal of being debt free in the purchase of its new land by the end of March. Here are the details. downtowngreens.org
