Washington Heritage Museums will host its third annual fundraiser, “Bourbon & Boxwood” at the Mary Washington House and gardens on September 23, 2017.
The public forum will take place at James Monroe High School
located at 2300 Washington Avenue and will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 11:00 a.m. Doors
for the event will open at 7:45 a.m.
Online submissions (or mailed submissions) can be submitted through 12:00 p.m. on
Monday, September 25th.
The deadline to submit grant applications online at www.cfrrr.org is Monday, October 3rd by 5:00 PM.
This season’s hikes will range from 2.5 to 5 miles, covering two to three miles per hour. All hikes begin at 10 a.m.

The Stafford County Armed Forces Memorial Dedication took place this past weekend on Saturday, July 15, at the Stafford Government Center.
These grants were awarded through the National Park Service’s American Battlefield Protection Program, funded through the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF)
