Walk off your Thanksgiving Dinner with us on Black Friday—Opt to be outside instead of shopping!

Enjoy the fall weather with a 3.5-mile (6k) group walk along our Club’s River Rambles Year Round Event (YRE).  This route takes us along the Canal Path and Heritage Trail, with view of the Rappahannock River and a side excursion to see Cossey Botanical Park. The walk is mostly paved and flat.  If you want AVA credit, bring your event and distance books.

Meet at 9:30AM in Old Mill Park (2201 Caroline St., Fredericksburg VA 22401) by the parking log; we begin walking at 9:45AM.

$3 to Walk ($4 for AVA Credit).

Join us on 11/30/2024 for the Holiday Bazaar at the Ron Rosner YMCA. We will be showcasing vendors, bakers, crafters, and antique/collectible dealers for Small Business Saturday. Find unique and handmade gifts for the holidays. Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus for photos from 11 am – 3 pm. 100% of the vendor fees go towards the Ron Rosner YMCA Kid’s Corner.

Visit a delightful neighborhood of dollhouses and miniatures this holiday season at the 9th Annual Wee Christmas Dollhouses & Miniatures Show at Historic Kenmore! Admire and awe over highly-detailed replica dollhouses – including one of Kenmore itself – and miniatures in the Crowninshield Museum. Share memories of your dollhouse with your family as you explore life in miniature. Put your minds and eyes to the test with our “iSpy Miniatures” challenge – fun for young and old alike.

The holly-jolliest pub crawl in Downtown Fredericksburg!

For a $70 donation, our supporters/Santas will join us at 6+ downtown restaurant/bar stops, dressed in their most festive red holiday outfits for drinks, appetizers, 50/50 raffle, live music, and holiday festivities!

Complimentary Santa hats gifted to all who participate, along with a complimentary drink at each location and appetizers at select locations. Must be 21+ to participate.

Participating locations will be revealed in an email to registered Santas on December 2nd!

This year we are shaking things up! Like the Grinch’s heart, SantaCon has grown and we are excited to share the changes for 2024:

• More locations! Thanks to the holiday cheer you bring each year, other restaurants have taken notice and want to join in on the fun! We will now have at least 6 Downtown Fredericksburg locations participating in SantaCon.
• An extra hour! With more locations, we will be extending SantaCon to end at 8:00pm.
• Freedom to travel your own Santa Route! Your first location will be assigned, but after that, you can walk on your own. Rather than a strict group schedule, you now have the ability to hop to different participating SantaCon locations at your own pace.
• 50/50 Raffle! Fill your Santa bags by winning BIG $$$ in our 50/50 raffle supporting BBBS.
• Early Ticket Pick-Up! Avoid waiting during SantaCon to sign-in. Pick-up your tickets early and take advantage of a full day visiting SantaCon locations!

Please wear warm, red, festive outfits and comfortable shoes!

We want all our Santas to return to the North Pole safe and sound this holiday season. Please plan ahead! Whether it be an Uber, Lyft, designated driver, or a friendly elf with a sleigh, it is important to us that you stay on the nice list and make it home safely!
