There will be a ribbon cutting at 9:30 am.
Major exhibits and artifacts include the M198 howitzer that fired the first shot in Desert Storm, multiple combat vehicles, a scene from Haiti depicting Operation Uphold Democracy, an F/A-18 Hornet fighter/attack jet that flew over Washington, DC after the 9/11 attacks, an evolution of combat medicine display, and an interactive recreation of an Iraqi street that visitors will walk through depicting combat room clearing, female engagement teams, and interactions with Iraqi citizens in support of the rebuilding of their communities.
