The Fredericksburg Area Iris Society will hold its annual “Open Garden Day” on Sunday, April 30th, with four area gardens open to the public. Our gardens will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The date is chosen to catch the peak of the medians (smaller, earlier irises) and some early tall bearded. Blooms may be slightly later in some gardens, but other types of flowers should also be in bloom in the gardens.
