KGSO is participating in our own version of “No Shave November” to benefit Love Thy Neighbor, a local volunteer community food pantry which provides nutritional basics and reassurance to others in need free of charge!
Through this month you’ll see some staff looking a little scruffy and some with a splash of color. Male staff will be growing out their beards and female staff will be sporting a mustache ribbon and painting their fingernails/dying their hair, with each participant donating $60 ($2 for each day in November).
Our staff raised $1,680.00 which was presented to Love Thy Neighbor today by Sheriff Giles and Captain Weston. Love Thy Neighbor is currently seeking help providing holiday meals to those in need.
