The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with RPI Group is pleased to announce the return of the popular one day summit, Cyber Never Sleeps. The event will be held on October 24th from 8 am-3 pm at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center.
Bob Pleaban, President of RPI Group said, “You can go to a conference anywhere in this country, but what about us, what about the talent we have right here (Fredericksburg). We can talk about Cyber, we have great folks and that’s why this event was started years ago to say, this here in Central Virginia can be a place you can come to for Cyber Security.”
The summit will focus on Cyber Security for new technology and aims to provide background information and practical steps to understand and safely leverage these new and exciting technologies. The keynote speaker for this event will be Dr. Ray Letter, Director, Operations Risk Assessment, DOD CISO, Pentagon, Washington DC. Dr. Letteer is the Marine Corps Senior Information Security Official (SISO) and the Chief of the Cybersecurity Division of the Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) Department at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps. There will also be panel discussions surrounding key topics. Panelist include:

- Joel Griffin, Founder and President of Riphean Group
- Xin-Wen, Ph.D., Department of Computer Science at the University of Mary Washington
- Jeff Watts, Director of Cybersecurity at RPI Group
- Veena Ravishankar, Ph.D., Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science at University of Mary Washington
