The policy says schools and facilities may be named for individuals who have been deceased for at least ten years. A new name will be needed in Fredericksburg for a third elementary school. (The new school being built in Idlewild will keep the current Walker-Grant name). A vote is scheduled on the policy change on Monday night (October 9)
