The Commissioner of the Revenue’s office, located in City Hall, 715 Princess Anne Street, will begin closing at 4:00 p.m. effective Wednesday, February 1st. In addition, for the months of February, March, and April, the office will be closed to the public on Monday at noon and all day Thursdays.
“Closing our offices will help us in preparing the personal property tax bills in the new software for the upcoming spring billing. Closing the offices during the upcoming months will support us in that process,” said Lois Jacob, Commissioner of the Revenue. “We will be very happy to help customers at our windows on Monday morning and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the coming months. We can also assist taxpayer via e-mail throughout the week, or via telephone while we are open.”
