The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says just before 7:00 a.m. on Monday, they learned of a bomb threat at Stafford Middle School. The threat was communicated over a social media platform. Deputies and explosive detecting K-9’s responded to check the interior and exterior of the school. No explosive device was located. Authorities said they are working closely with school officials to identify the person responsible for this threat.
The school opened on time. There was an increased law enforcement presence.
