The Stafford School Board voted to require students, staff and visitors to continue wearing mask. An emergency meeting was held Thursday night.
Board members Siegmund and Halstead voted no. Board members voting yes said state law is over Governor Youngkin’s executive order allowing parents to opt out.
Locally, Stafford and City schools will require masks. Spotsylvania has dropped the mask mandate. King George will allow parents to opt their children out.
