From the Caroline Sheriff’s Office:
On 12/25/2021, the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the Ladysmith Shell station, at 8417 Ladysmith Road, reporting an armed robbery that just occurred. Deputies arrived on scene where it was reported that a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and face mask, and a female wearing a mask covering most of her face entered the store together. The female then displayed a handgun and demanded items. As the clerk was complying with the demands of the armed female, the male watched the store entrance. The suspects were seen driving a gray Dodge Journey with no front license plate and dark wheels. No injuries were reported.
