Six Chancellor High School students facing charges for school disruptions

From the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:

In the last day Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers have worked very closely with School administration to investigate, identify and address several malicious and disrupting incidents that have occurred at Chancellor High School Campus.
On Monday December 13, 2021 at 2:18PM, a fire alarm activation was pulled by a female student. This student was identified and charges will be obtained from Juvenile Intake Office for her actions.
On Tuesday December 14, 2021 a vague social media post was brought to our attention referring kids not to go to school. Even though there was no detailed threat, the Sheriff’s Office increased their presence on the Campus. The student was quickly identified and this case is still under investigation.
On Tuesday December 14, 2021 at 9:01AM, another fire alarm activation was pulled by a male student. This student was identified and charges will be obtained from Juvenile Intake Office for his actions.
On Tuesday December 14, 2021 at 1:07PM, another fire alarm activation was pulled by several male students. Four male students responsible for this have been identified and charges will be obtained from Juvenile Intake Office for their actions.
These incidents caused a severe disruption and the Sheriff’s Office is taking these matters very seriously. These deliberate acts will face consequences and the Sheriff’s Office is committed to working hand in hand with school administration for the safety of students and faculty in all county campuses.
