From Louisa County:

Holiday activities in Louisa County are quickly approaching. Beginning with the 10th Annual Louisa Christmas Tree Lighting on December 3rd, residents will have several options to safely celebrate the season and support their neighbors.

Schedule and Description of Holiday Events Held through Louisa County:

  • 10th Annual Louisa Christmas Tree Lighting, Friday, December 3rd at 6pm on the Louisa Courthouse Lawn. In addition to viewing the lighting of the tree, attendees can enjoy musical performances, decorate ornaments, and sing carols.

  • 2021 Louisa Christmas Festival & Parade, Saturday, December 4th in the Town of Louisa. The craft festival portion of the event will run from 10am – 3pm, and the parade will begin at noon. The theme of this year’s parade is “Classic Christmas Characters.”
  • 17th Annual Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, December 11th at the Betty Queen Center from 9am – 11am. To ensure a safe environment for this indoor event, those wishing to participate must pre-register this year through lcprt.activityreg.com. Space is limited.

  • Louisa’s Hometown Holiday event will run through the holiday season. The event, managed by the Louisa County Department of Parks & Recreation and the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce, will encourage residents to “Shop Louisa” by promoting business specials and running raffles throughout the season for residents that qualify.

  • Louisa County invites groups from the region (not limited to Louisa County organizations) to participate in the Christmas parade.
