Supervisor Tim McLaughlin made the motion, saying the name change is happening because of the General Assembly: “It’s not like we wanted to change the name, we’re being mandated.”
The name change goes to the Commonwealth Transportation Board this fall. Jefferson Davis Highway changes January 1st.
