Each year in late January a Point in Time Count is done around the country to measure the number of homeless in communities. The Point in Time Count took place this past week. Fredericksburg Councilman Matt Kelly posted some pictures on his personal Facebook page. He wrote:
Thankfully we found no one out during this rather chilly morning.
I do not take pictures of individuals without permission and do not enter or open tents. I make sure there is nothing in the photos that would identify the site. As in the past, I am not going to comment on the photos and just let them speak for themselves.
