Motorists can expect brief travel delays on Route 3 eastbound and westbound in Stafford County’s Ferry Farm area for emergency utility work on today and tomorrow and Monday thru Friday next week.
Route 3 eastbound and westbound will be reduced to a single lane in each direction near Rumford Road, just east of the Washington Square Plaza shopping center.
Weather permitting, lane closures are scheduled to occur from 3 p.m. today through 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. Additional single lane closures are scheduled next week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily Monday thru Friday.
Crews for Stafford County’s Department of Public Works will be performing emergency utility work.
