House cleaners charged in the theft of wedding rings in Stafford

Two Fredericksburg area house cleaners have been charged with steaing two wedding rings in Stafford.  The Stafford Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a theft on Sandy Ridge Road. The victim reported she hired a cleaning company to clean her residence on November 12. She later realized a tote bag had been stolen. The bag contained two sets of wedding rings and clothes.
Detective A.S. Smith was assigned the case and obtained a search warrant for the cleaning company based in Spotsylvania. The detective was able to identify the women who cleaned the victim’s residence. They were identified as 32-year old Enma Guevara Luna of Fredericksburg and 45-year old Ana Gomez Villalobos of Fredericksburg. A search warrant was executed at Gomez Villalobos’ home. Detectives located one set of the stolen wedding rings and a piece of the stolen clothing. It was learned Guevara Luna was in possession of the second set of stolen wedding rings. When detectives confronted her about the rings, she surrendered them to detectives.
Both suspects were charged with grand larceny. Gomez Villalobos was held on a $2,000 secured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. Guevara Luna was released on a $3,500 unsecured bond.
