Germanna Community College has postponed the May commencement ceremonies until December and announced that all summer classes will be online. Summer registration is open at Germanna.edu.
Germanna President Dr. Janet Gullickson says, “I am very disappointed to announce that Germanna, on the basis of federal and state urging, is postponing its May Commencement until December, when we will have two celebrations. You will still graduate when you have completed the requirements of graduation (May, for example) but we won’t have the party until December. I know this is hard and am very sorry. ”
All Germanna events, rentals and student activities are cancelled until May 15 OR later if circumstances change.
