From City Police:
On Monday, December 16th, the Fredericksburg Police Department arrested the suspect in Saturday’s shooting that left one person dead and another person injured. 19 year old Darian Lamar Wilhoit Jones of Stafford County was arrested on felony charges of capital murder, attempted capital murder, attempted robbery, and use of a firearm in a commission of a felony.
Wilhoit Jones is currently incarcerated at Prince William County Adult Detention Center without bond. The investigation is still active and ongoing. Police received a call Saturday night about 9 that shots had been fired inside an apartment in the 1200 block of Kenmore Avenue.
