From the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:

In the early morning hours of October 20, 2019 deputies responded to the 10300 block of Rolling Ridge Drive for a reported burglary in progress.  The homeowners called the Sheriff’s Office stating that some unknown person was actively attempting to break into their home.  While deputies were still responding, the homeowners stated that the subject had gained access inside their home.  Deputies arrived shortly after and found a broken window.  Upon further investigation, they found a male, later identified as Brandon Comfort, standing just inside the home.  Deputies were able to gain entry into the home and without incident, take Brandon into custody.  29-year old Brandon Comfort was subsequently charged with Burglary. He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
