Project Background
The I-95 Northbound Rappahannock River Crossing project seeks to reduce northbound I-95 congestion between the Exit 130 and Exit 133 interchanges.
The new northbound crossing will add additional lanes parallel to the general purpose lanes on I-95 from Exit 130 (Route 3) in Fredericksburg to Exit 133 (Route 17) in Stafford.
Construction is anticipated to begin by early 2021 and conclude in 2024.
