It would give the Co-op 100% of the local sales tax revenue for the first five years and 50% the next five years provided they meet several guidelines. The Economic Development Authority would have to sign off on the agreement next month.
If the Co-op moves forward with the Lee Plaza lease an opening in 2020 is planned. Council heard from City Economic Development and Tourism Director Bill Freehling and Rich Larochelle with the Co-op.
