Culpeper Tells 2018
Saturday, March 10 1-9:30 pm
Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 South West St
What is storytelling? Simply put its timeless entertainment. Storytelling is an interactive way of using words and actions to tell a story and engage a listener’s imagination. It’s not stand-up comedy, although it’s often humorous. Culpeper Tells has included bluegrass and folk singing, but it’s not a concert. It’s not children’s story time, but most ages will enjoy most stories. A storytelling festival features performances and workshops from a variety of professional storytellers while also offering story slams-a chance for amateurs to tell a tale.
$25-$45, and they will be $30-$55 at the door. Children 12 and younger are free but they must have a ticket.
