From Stafford Country Economic Development and Tourism
Stafford County will be featured on Washington’s Fox5 TV’s news show all morning this Friday as part of their summer “ZipTrip” series. (Each Friday morning they feature a locality in greater DC).
During the early news, starting at 6, all the weather breaks are shot live from various locations within the county, featuring various lifestyle aspects and local businesses. (Embrey Mill Café, Family Pizzaria, Amy’s Café, Jeff Rouse Aquatics Center, Riverside, Ferry Farm, Le Grand Cru Bistro (Potomac Winery), plus more.) Local dignitaries and other Stafford folks will also be interviewed during the “live from Stafford” breaks throughout the morning.
A Military Appreciation Breakfast will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 am at Grounds Bistro at Embrey Mill by Newland Communities. Active-duty and veterans are invited to stop by. The first 100 to attend will receive a complimentary breakfast and travel mug. (Wear your uniform, t-shirt hat or anything that shows your support of the military.)
