Dr. Paulino D. Sambat, a physician who practiced for more than 43 years in Spotsylvania County, was awarded the 2016 Governor Spotswood Award during a ceremony June 16.
The Spotsylvania County Womans Club is hosting a celebration of Dr. Sambat at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, at the Marshall Center, 8800 Courthouse Rd. During the event, the Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors will present a commendation honoring Dr. Sambat for his dedicated commitment, community spirit and excellent medical care for the Spotsylvania community and the region.
