The ribbon cutting at Found in Fred on Sept. 4, 2015, was a celebration of many businesses. Entrepreneurs Chris Austin and Rick Jeffries have opened the storefront as a pop up space for existing businesses and a physical presence for online businesses and startups.
In addition to managing the store and coordinating the pop ups, Austin and Jeffries are also running their other businesses from the location: A Modern Chair, Austin’s chair remodeling and vintage re-purposing business, and Rick Jeffries’ Ventures Marketing.
Fredericksburg Mayor Mary Katherine Greenlaw joined representatives from Fredericksburg Va. Main Street, Fredericksburg Economic Development and City Council welcoming Austin, Jeffries and the gathering of business owners who have merchandise in the store.
