Our Community Salutes, 6 p.m. invitation only reception; 7 p.m. ceremony, open to the public, at the University of Mary Washington, Dodd Auditorium, 1301 College Ave., Fredericksburg.
Planning Commission Meeting, 7:30 – 10 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall
THURSDAY, May 15

Advance Conversational Italian Begins, 10 a.m. at Dorothy Hart Community Center, 408 Canal St., Fredericksburg.  $70/$75.  Please pre-register.

Nature Play for Preschoolers, 10 – 11:15 a.m. at Motts Run Reservoir Recreation Area, 6600 River Rd., Fredericksburg.

FRIDAY, May 16

Social Media 101, 8 – 10 a.m. at the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, 2300 Fall Hill Ave., Fredericksburg. $15.

FredXchange Open Coffee, 8 – 9:30 a.m. at The Center, 1514 College Ave., Fredericksburg.

Night Catfishing, 7 p.m. – 1 a.m. at Motts Run Reservoir Recreation Area, 6600 River Rd., Fredericksburg.  $5 adult, $3 child.  Register online.
