Stafford Fire and Rescue says just after 7:30 on Thursday morning, units were dispatched for a reported building fire along Bent Creek Court.
Units arrived on scene approximately 5 minutes later and found a two-story, detached garage fully involved, with two residences endangered by the fire.
Stafford Fire and Rescue sys crews quickly extended lines to extinguish the fire and protect the exposed residences from further damage. Both homes sustained minor damage but could be reoccupied.
Officails say the occupants of the residence were able to evacuate prior to the arrival of fire units. The fire remains under routine investigation by the Stafford County Fire Marshal’s Office. Units were assisted on scene by Quantico Fire & Emergency Services.
