Gloria Rovira
Gloria Esther Rovira, born on December 14, 1950, in Caguas, Puerto Rico, passed away on December 11, 2024, in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Gloria dedicated her life to the field of clinical psychology, where she spent over 20 years specializing in children’s psychology and mental health. Her passion for helping others was evident not only in her professional life but also in her warm and approachable personality, which endeared her to many.
Gloria was a proud mother to her four children: Alexander Castodado, Javier Castodado, Kevin Delgado, and Josephine Delgado, all of whom carry her legacy forward. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Madeleine Rovira Roldan.
An avid traveler, Gloria’s favorite destination was always her homeland of Puerto Rico, where she cherished the culture and beauty of the island. She found joy in the music of Celia Cruz, often bringing laughter and a light-hearted spirit to those around her.
Known for her go-to attitude and infectious sense of humor, Gloria touched the lives of countless individuals through her commitment to mental health and counseling. Her legacy of compassion and dedication to helping others will be remembered by friends, family, and colleagues alike.
