A 36,000-square-foot gym is planned in the former Food Lion space in Stafford County’s Ferry Farm area.
FXBG Iron Gym has started construction work on the space at 205 Kings Highway.
The gym is expected to open in early 2025. It will feature modern equipment, free weights, squat racks, training turf, power-lifting, and recovery services including cryotherapy, red light therapy, compression recovery boots and IV therapy.
The grocery store closed almost 10 years ago, and the space has been empty ever since. The building received a significant facelift a few years ago.
