Expect a warm and breezy Friday. A weak disturbance passes through during the afternoon and could touch off a weak, short-lived shower or two. But the chance is very low.
Dry this weekend with sun and clouds both days and afternoons in the 60s. Daybreak temperatures tumble to around 40, but not cold enough for a freeze.
No significant rain through at least the middle of next week and perhaps longer with no sign of a freeze for the next 10 days.The monthly average temperature in Fredericksburg for October was about 2 degrees warmer than normal.
