by | Sep 21, 2024 | News, Ted Schubel

Triple A Mid-Atlantic says the Virginia state gas average has dipped to $3/gallon, dropping to the lowest statewide price since January 27th. Today’s average of $3.00 is down 7 cents in the past week, down 28 cents in the past month and is 59 cents less than it was one year ago.

Triple A says the highest price recorded in Virginia for 2024 was $3.52 on April 20th. The least expensive this year was on January 12th, when the price was $2.92. Morgan Dean with Triple A says many stations across the state are selling regular unleaded for less than $3/gallon.
