A male juvenile is in custody after a shooting Wednesday evening in Stafford County left one adult male dead.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting just after 11 p.m. in the 100 block of Hulls Chapel Road. Deputies attempted life-saving measures on the victim but he died at the scene.
The suspected shooter was charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.
Stafford Sheriff’s Office Maj. Shawn Kimmitz said that the incident was domestic and there was no threat to the public.
