A slate of Fredericksburg area high school football games were postponed Thursday because of thunderstorms in the region.
Massaponax was set to host Loudoun County visitor Independence Thursday at 7 p.m. but the contest was moved to Friday at 7 p.m.
Courtland planned to open its season Thursday against visiting Orange County, but that game was moved to Friday at 7 p.m. as well.
James Monroe’s visit to Stafford High was moved to Saturday at 10 a.m. King George at Brooke Point was rescheduled for Friday at 4 p.m. Forest Park at Mountain View was switched to Friday at noon and Colonial Forge at Woodbridge will be played Friday at noon as well.
