For many years, Mary Washington Hospice has held pinning ceremonies on Veterans Day to honor our nation’s veterans residing in local long term care facilities, as part of a partnership with the organization We Honor Veterans. Wednesday afternoon, Mary Washington Hospice and Spotsylvania Deputy Margarida Figueroa met up with Retired Corporal Fred Moufang, the oldest Marine Corps Veteran (104 year old) in Spotsylvania. Corporal Moufang was honored for his service, dedication and sacrifice in World War II.
