Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors representative Lori Hayes is hosting a town hall meeting Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Cosner Park Community Center, 1 HCC Drive, to discuss safety updates and future plans for Tidewater Trail and State Route 2.
Hayes, who represents the Lee Hill District, is holding the town hall in response to six deadly incidents on the stretch of road since 2022, including four pedestrian deaths.
Two crashes resulted in deaths in May, including the loss of 18-year-old Massaponax High School graduate Slade Miller on May 20.
