VDOT says new Hurricane Evacuation Route signs have recently been installed throughout the Northern Neck along specified routes for hurricane evacuations. In the Fredericksburg District, Route 17 from the Coleman Bridge to I-95 is designated and signed as an evacuation route with 34 signs. Additionally, Route 3 has been designated from the Norris (Lancaster County) to Route 1 (Falmouth) with 28 signs.
