‘The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says a woman was arrested and charged in connection with an alleged DUI. The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the 1300 block of Kings Highway at around 4:50 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Sheriff’s Office says the driver was heading west when the car crossed over the median and went off the road before rolling over and coming to a stop. A deputy found an empty box of Twisted Tea outside the car.
The Sheriff’s Office says were taken to the a local hospital for treatment. Police say both showed signs of intoxication. The driver told the deputy that “nobody” was driving the car at the time of the crash.. Police say the driver was found to have a revoked license due to a previous DUI conviction.
Police only identified the driver as a 20-year-old woman. Ehe’s been charged with driving under the influence, DUI maiming, driving with a revoked license and reckless driving. Photo courtesy Stafford Sheriff’s Office
