A teenager was killed in Spotsylvania County Sunday morning after his motorcycle collided with a Dodge Charger in the area of Tidewater Trail and Briarwood Lane.
Slade Miller, 18, of Spotsylvania died at the scene of the crash. The 41-year-old driver of the car suffered minor injuries and stayed on the scene with investigators.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene at 11:30 a.m. and learned that the driver of the Charger exited Briarwood Lane to turn north on Tidewater Trail when Miller’s motorcycle, which was traveling south, ran into the vehicle.
The accident is being investigated by the sheriff’s office Accident Reconstruction Team to determine if additional factors contributed to the crash.
