It began at 6am Friday morning: The Culpeper Sheriffs Office, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a joint speed awareness and enforcement campaign. Authorities say they have received numerous complaints of speeding and have worked numerous fatality accidents due to speed in the last few months.
This special enforcement will target dangerous drivers, combating improper passing, egregious speeds, distracted driving, and any other motor vehicle related offense. The Orange Sheriff’s Office Facebook page says: Please heed this warning. Be safe, plan ahead, and slow down!
