The Virginia Osprey Festival is this next Saturday in Colonial Beach.
Here’s what you’ll experience
–Wildlife Biologist Carolyn Rubinfeld with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources has a program on raptor identification in flight.
–Experience hands-on encounters with ambassador animals from local rehabbers and put your angling skills to the test at the Backyard Bass game.
–Explore Colonial Beach and learn about its rich history, including the infamous ‘Oyster Wars.’
–Children’s activities, golf cart and trolley tours, and a keynote speech by Osprey Biologist Dr. Paul Spitzer.

Event takes place at Town Hill in Colonial Beach on Saturday, April 13th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is hosted by the Virginia Osprey Foundation, INC.
