Fast forecast
Expect a chilly and wet weekend start, but a sunny finish.
- Several rounds of rain Friday
- Breezy and chilly Saturday
- Sunny and milder Sunday
Rain comes during most of Friday to the Fredericksburg region, continuing well into the evening before ending. About an inch of rain is expected before it finishes by dawn Saturday.
Saturday will not be pristinely sunny, but any showers that develop will be small and short-lived, causing more of a nuisance than truly adding to Friday’s rain totals. For the opening of Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market on Saturday, expect a chilly breeze and temperature no better than the low 50s later on in the afternoon.
Sunday will be the better day outside this weekend, with morning clouds breaking for more sustainable sunshine and an afternoon in the lower to middle 60s.
Normal temperatures next week:
Highs: Upper 60s
Lows: Low-mid 40s
